I planned Chloe and Chase's couple session in a matter of 20 minutes (perks of being related to the photographer ;) you can have sessions whenever.) In the UP, you never know what the weather will be like. It could be raining one day and a full blizzard the next. The day of this session was just gorgeous. The way the snow sticks to the trees after a winter snowstorm is a photographer's dream.
I didn't plan on doing anything during the day until I woke up and looked outside. I usually shoot in the morning or evening because the light is so much better during that time, but I couldn't take the chance of the snow melting. Once I ensured my batteries were charged, I knew a session needed to be done.
In a matter of minutes, I texted Chloe to see if she was free to take some photos, and with the help of luck, they both had the day off of work. In 20 minutes, we were all at one of my favorite locations, shooting a session.
Sometimes the best sessions are the ones that are last minute.
